Kidney story

Just wanted to write about my wife's kidney life.  She got kidney disease along with her father back in 2011. I'm writing about these people because they are a huge influence in my life. They didn't just stopped and give up , they stayed positive. They we each other moral support through out the scary and sad situation. I learned a lot about life when it came down to other peoples reactions along with family members both good and bad. You would think a friend or a family member would be have more compassion towards sick people but no. They think ans say what did you do? or why did you get kidney failure?. Here's what they want to hear, "Oh I just did a lot of drugs, drank wayy to much, eat a lot of junk food". If that were the case ever celeb/rock star would have kidney failure. Bad things happen to good people all the time. It has nothing to do with karma or your life style, just plain bad luck. Her father and her were denied twice by University Hospital in Denver Co. The first excuse was we needed a second insurance to help cover the whole cost. The second time was she was over weight but the man who said this had no medical background he was just a buffer zone for the hospital. I believe he father wasn't denied but refuse to get kidney before he's daughter would. If so he didn't say, Jennie felt like crap and it was both times despressing. They did evenutally get on the list with Presbyterian St. Lukes hospital on 2014. Talk about night and day, they where much friendlier and gave us more of a positive attitude. There was no buffer zone guy to denied us there but a nurse named Lee.  Kidney failure hit them hard, it got to the point that they weren't able to legally drive anymore.  Our insurance is crappy,  I pay 790.00 dollars a month for health insurance which only covers a percentage each month out of my check. We went medically and financially bankrupt in 2014. We lost our home and we had to moved in with her folks. It worked for the best, we help each financially,  trips to the clinics or treatments centers, moral support and fun. John Lopez was her father's name and he was like a second father to me. The man should me how to not let life get you down no matter what. I'm sad to say he passed this last July 2015. He died at the of 67 to kidney failure. It sucked, the whole family was and still depressed by he's passing. My wife hit her hard I'm hoping and miracle for a kidney soon for my wife, she feels like she's a burden on everyone and a waste of space but she's not. She's just turned 35 this November.  I will leave some information to get a hold of her kidney transplant coordinator if you would like to donate a kidney. Thank you for reading.   Information for Presbyterian St Lukes Hospital call Kathryn O" Dea Rn Transplant cooridinator email kathryn.odea@healthonecares.com

Get a kidney for Jen

This is Jennie, my wife and she looking for a kidney donor and I'm trying to find a kidney for my wife, she needs B type donor. Thank you for following and please share and spread the word.. I'm trying to find a kidney for my wife, she is my hero and had been an inspiration to me. She deserves to live life cause she loves it. She was diagnose with kidney failure in September of 2011, just before that her father was diagnose with kidney failure a month before her. Sad to say she lost her father a week ago, she wanted to give up. So I felt I needed to do something. I thought to myself I don’t want to lose her either so I started this page.
